Do you know what it is?
Before I tell you, let me give you a little example.
Have you tried scrolling through #Facebook and coming across an ad that speaks to you? An ad that makes you stop scrolling and watch until the end?
Of course, you have.
Have you tried scrolling through Facebook and coming across the EXACT SAME AD again and again?
Exactly! That is the mistake a lot of advertisers make.
They make one good ad that does it all and chooses to stick with it for an extended period of time, during which Facebook’s algorithm is already penalizing them for creating “BORING” content.
How do you AVOID making the same mistake?
Create a variety of ads aimed to entice different people.
There are people who are brand new contacts; there are people who actually know about the product and want to learn more; then there are people who are fans of the brand and want to learn everything about the new product.
You have to, at least, have one ad aimed at each type of audience.
You don’t even have to make a new ad every few days. Just have a collection of ads you can run in a rotation.
It may seem like such a simple problem, but it does happen A LOT.
Have you made the same mistake? Or do you know anyone who did? Let me know down in the comments!
